Open Seminar on Chemicals Management Policies among China, Japan and Korea NEW
(Hybrid Seminar)

The 19th Tripartite Policy Dialogue on Chemicals Management among China, Japan and Korea was held in Yamagata, Japan, from 17 July to 18 July, 2025. As part of this tripartite dialogue, an open seminar on Chemicals Management Policies of each country was held for approximately 700 participants(Total of on-site and online) on 18 July.
In this seminar, Government officials from Japan, China and Korea introduced the latest trends on Chemicals Management Policies in each country as follows.
1.Japan:
Initiatives related the Intergovernmental Science-policy Panel on Chemicals, Waste and Pollution (ISP-CWP) the Global Framework on Chemicals (GFC), Progress and Updates of the Chemical Substances Control Law (CSCL) and Recent Trends in PFAS Measures in Japan, etc.
2.China:
Overview and latest trends of Measures on Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances, etc.
3.Korea:
Overview and latest trends of Chemical Substances Control Act (CCA) and the Act on Registration and Evaluation of Chemical Substances (K-REACH), etc.
