“Seminar on the Latest Trends in Chemical Substances Management in the EU” was held on 17th March 2022 with
about 750 participants interested in chemical substances management. In this seminar, Ms. Cristina de Avila,
Head of Unit, Directorate-General for Environment, Safe and Sustainable Chemicals Unit, European
Commission(EC), introduced the latest trends in chemical substances management policies in the EU.

about 440 participants interested in chemical substances management. In this seminar, Ms. YU Tingting, Senior
Staff Member, Division of Chemicals, Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China,
and Mr. LIU Xiaojian, Chemicals management division, Solid waste and Chemicals management Center, Ministry of
Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China, introduced the latest trends in chemical substances
management policies in China.
